Washing Instructions -
After stitching, hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild liquid soap. Rinse in cold water. Let dry flat.
Helpful Hint Regarding Dark Fabric Colors -
As with most dark fabrics of any type, Charles Craft aida cloth may
"bleed"
and discolor the water when washed. For our 100% cotton fabrics, we
recommend
hand washing in cool water with a small amount (1/2 teaspoon) mild liquid
soap. After washing, rinse in cold water and roll in a towel to absorb
excess
moisture.
If the water has been discolored from the fabric, change the water and
rinse
again until water is clear. If handled in this manner, the color will not
"bleed" onto floss and you will have a beautiful cross stitch project
ready
to finish. To complete your project, iron face down on clean dry white
terry
towel. Press until the piece is dry. Do not press if floss color has been
stained - continue to soak in cool water until color has been removed.
