High Performance Yarn
Our High Performance Yarn Division offers yarns and sewing threads
primarily for the protective apparel and heat resistant market. Aramid
fibers such as Kevlar, Twaron, Nomex, Conex and PBI are spun on the most
modern equipment available in the world and yarns are offered in counts
ranging from 4/1 to 50/1 and multiplies are also available.
Cut-resistance as well as flame-resistance are the primary features of
the yarns produced by this division. Typical end uses include cut
resistant glove and apparel products, high tensile strength sewing
threads, heat-resistant yarns for belting and industrial weaving
applications and flame-resistant commercial and military apparel fabric.
